We’d love for you to get in touch if you would like to talk about any part of our package or process, but we thought we would cover a few of the frequently asked questions below.
How long does the process take?
The process overall takes 3 days. We invite you to drop your vehicle off on day 1 between 9am – 10am and it is then ready to collect on day 3 between 3pm – 5pm. However, we offer a Saturday to Saturday service where you will be welcome to drop your vehicle off on Saturday and collect the following Saturday. On Saturday’s we are open between 10am – 12pm.
How much does the courtesy car cost?
We provide our courtesy cars free of charge, including the necessary insurance to cover you to drive it. All we ask is that you return it with the same amount of fuel that you take it away with. Our courtesy car fleet is made up of small hatchback cars, a mix of diesel and petrol. They are limited and subjet to availability.
If my car needs welding, is this something you can do?
Yes, we can. We have a professional welder on site who is able to carry out comprehensive welding repairs for all makes and models. If we find areas which require repair, we will halt the treatment and take photos and create an estimate before discussing it with you in full. There is no obligation for you accept the estimate, you are more than welcome to return and collect your car. There will be a steam clean and assessment charge which is £80+ VAT.
Do I have to return for annual check ups?
It is highly recommended that you return for yearly check ups of the treatment. The treatment can be damaged by road debris or if it is jacked up by a garage which may damage the coating and allow the ingress of moisture and therefore compromise the seal of the treatment. To get the most from the treatment we highly recommend that it is inspected by us. We offer your first yearly check up for free and it takes 1 day. Subsequent annual check ups are £80 + VAT.
What colour will the coating be?
Dinitrol 4941 is the main underbody treatment and it is black. Dinitrol 445 is the wheel arch stone chip protection and it is also black.
