Customer Service Administrator

Salary: £11.00 per hour

Hours: 40 per week, 9:00am – 6:00pm, 1 in 2 Saturday’s 10:00am til 12:00pm

Person specification:

We are looking for a confident, highly organised, efficient and experienced administrator to play a role in the day to day running of our very busy specialist garage. The ideal candidate will be extremely proficient on IT systems such as Office, Gmail and operating bespoke company software (training will be provided). The ideal candidate will have a positive, team-orientated attitude and will be able to communicate clearly verbally and digitally to ensure that the business runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong, polite telephone manner as well as the ability to build easy and quick rapports with our customers. They must be able to demonstrate a passion for the business and be keen to learn. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the daily organization of tasks, so the candidate must be able to think one step ahead at all times.

Duties:

– Dealing with telephone and email enquiries and booking appointments using bespoke garage software

– Creating estimates and jobs for customers and liaising with them to answer questions and make changes where needed

– Keeping customers updated throughout the process of repair, ensuring they receive all information about any changes to the work.

– Updating customer invoices accurately

– Dealing with customers face to face, issuing invoices and taking payments

– Dealing with incoming and outgoing courtesy car handover as well as basic maintenance

– Organising work with third parties (MOT, wheel alignment)

– Delivering customers vehicles to third party sub-contractors (MOT, wheel alignment)

– General administrative tasks

Additional:

Motor trade experience would be preferable but not essential

Driving licence is essential

Highly proficient in IT
